With you in mind, I designed The Tempest to offer a wide variety of music, ranging from Indie to Classic rock, to appease to all audiences young and old. With music I grew up on and the time in which I went to school, I don't find it too difficult to bring you music every week. My manager, and boyfriend opened my eyes to what community radio is and without him believing that I would be good at it, I'm not sure I would've tried so hard to get to this point. You know what? He was right. I have a deep passion for radio and music in general and doing this for you guys each and every week is truly a blessing. I would've never thought, I would've be able to do something I always dreamed of doing, and I am eternally grateful for it. Most of my co-workers are blind or visual impaired, so it goes to show you anything is possible. Why did I bring up they were blind? because I suffer from anxiety, depression and several other health issues, but It hasn't once caused me to loose sight of what I believe in. Even if no one is listening each week, I can honestly sit here an say I enjoy every minuet putting shows together, finding music, and talking to you all, even if it's myself. This has not only been a blessing to me, but it's been my outlet to let go of things, and talk about issues I kept bottled up. It's been a wonderful experience, not only because I get to fulfill a dream I've wanted to do since I was little, but because It brought me the love of my life, and with radio and working together, it has also brought us closer together as a couple.
